This project consisted of joining two small apartments for a growing family. The combination of the one bedroom and the studio created a linear space with little light. Rather than fight the linearity, it became a method for organizing the architecture. Read more  |

Connecticut Pool House, Ridgefield, CT
This 1000 square foot pool house, with a gabled roof, a cupola, and clapboard siding, draws on the language of the adjacent house while fitting seamlessly into the bermed landscape. Inside, the exposed, centralized wood trusses and cathedral ceilings provide a heroic character to a modest shelter. Read more  |
